Mother: "I should have known it was by those no-good Probeheads.
They've been nothing but a noisy racket ever since they came around with their first album 'Birds' Toe'."
Son: "Er...'First Snow'?"
Mother: "That's what I said, didn't I?"
Son: "*chuckles pitifully* Oh, Ma. I think you're just hopelessly outta the loop. All the cool and hip kids are listening to Probehead."

HI. It's your main man Josh, writing the liner notes again even though I should probably hand the job to someone else 'cause I always end up regretting them in retrospect.

What we have here is a taste of what's to come. On the (figurative) A-side, we have three songs that will also be present on our third album (which we plan to release by the end of the year so stay tuned, ladies and gents!). Then you (figuratively) flip this record over to the (figurative) B-side, and you're treated to four more goodies straight outta the Probehead Oven, including originals (Landscape of Burns, Suck the Sand), old outtakes (Weather Song) and Katamari Damacy covers (You Are Smart, featuring the elusive birdsinbaskets on vocoded vocals).

Our least vocal member, bassist April Friedman, is also stepping out to finally have her voice heard by giving us her two cents on each of the tracks. You can read her notes by clicking on the songs above.

As always, dig our spaced-out grooves and stay beautiful.
