This is our second single, "Talkin' 'bout You", following right on the heels of our first single, "Scuba Diver", released only 18 days earlier. This song was written immediately after the release of that single, by drummer All4one (aka me). My intention with this song was to write a song sounded a bit like an early-60's soul record, with the same lighthearted, sunny approach. After sending my initial demo in, the rest of the band all agreed that it would make a great follow-up single. So the song was written, arranged, recorded, and mixed in just about 2 weeks.

For the B-side, we included a composition from jji7skyline, a bluesy number called "I Don't Get It". For the song, jji claims to have been inspired by the Beatles song "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", from the 1969 classic Abbey Road. I think it's a great example of our chemistry as a band, as jji shows off his soloing chops, and I add a steady backbeat.

The writing and recording process is overall coming together much quicker than we could have ever expected. Our first album, confirmed to have 12 tracks, is almost complete, with 80% of the tracks already mixed and finalised. We don't have a determined release date yet, but it would probably be safe to say the album will be released by Autumn 2013, or possibly late summer 2013 if things keep going at this rate.
