It is, in part, my fault that this song didn't appear on In Full Color. Josh and I came up with the idea, at about the same time, that this song should be replaced by another acoustic Josh song, "You're My Favorite Person". Why? A large part was that this song is fairly derivative in nature, with the same melody as a demo by Andy Partridge by XTC (and several lyrical references to that band's songs throughout). "...Person" is, in addition, a much stronger song. Nonetheless, "Weather Song" is still worth hearing (and has been embellished here by extra percussion!)
